If there is a constitutional convention marriage equity will not necessarily be the only amendment up for vote. In fact it may not even make the cut. So what amendments would you like to see proposed?
One I would like to see is churches paying some forms of taxes for police and fire protection and other basic services. Also, I think it may not be a bad idea to limit the kinds of money / tax breaks that legislatures dole out to corporations to move to Iowa. I am still not convinced this is a winning strategy, but the legislature will never stop it.

And other forms of torture as well by employees of the state of Iowa or any governmental agency contained within.

2. Limit Iowa governors to one term. Since Harold Hughes they've all sucked. |

Culver especially since we had such high hopes. If we run through a bunch of people at a faster rate maybe accidentally we might get one that isn't a corporate shill for agribusiness or someone who finds his manhood challenged by legislative opposition to his harebrained notions.
