Chuckles was interviewed on KCJJ radio this morning
The local Iowa City radio station. I was at work so only caught snippets of it, but DailyKos has it covered here:

Keith Olbermann just mentioned it briefly.

Snip from IDP email today.

DES MOINES – Sen. Charles Grassley (R-Iowa) attacked President Obama Wednesday in an attempt to deflect attention away from a floor speech loosely based on fairy tales that attracted national ridicule on cable TV and the internet, Iowa Democratic Party Chairman Michael Kiernan said Wednesday.

The Hill newspaper first reported the comments Wednesday in which Grassley said President Obama lacks the experience to govern at the national level. “I believe he didn't serve in government long enough to understand really how things work," Grassley said.

Obama’s chief offense? Apparently not spending dozens of years learning the ways of Washington insiders before having the audacity to run for – and win – the Presidency. Grassley said Obama “effectively only had two years of experience in national politics.”

Kiernan questioned whether Grassley is getting enough experience in the reality most Iowa families know. “This attack on the President is just another in a disturbing series of incidents in which he has appeared increasingly out of touch with the everyday concerns of Iowans,” Kiernan said.

“President Obama is working hard on health care and the economy, to try and blunt the impact of a very deep recession, all while managing two wars and confronting foreign governments that wish us ill,” Kiernan said. “That he’s up to the job is hardly up for debate in Iowa.”

End snip

Getting off of TV and meeting Iowans won't help him. When he came to Stanton this April a large portion of questions from a huge Republican majority county, Montgomery, were about health and insurance but he acts like some small adjustments are all we need. During the same meeting questions from school and gov't officials, Republicans, about stimulus $'s how and when were answered with "Well I voted against it but do this or that". They all hate Democrats and all that spending but then it is "how do I get mine first".

Oh we had a "Birther" there too. Grassley said Obama was the President

May try to get to Union County event with wife to see if any thing has changed. I think his fuse is shorter than normal.

This ignoramous holds health care hostage.
ETA I should have waited until the whole interview was over. His views on North Korea and other countries are pricelessly stupid. He channels John Bolton!
