1. Harkin had one in Des Moines,
today, I think it was, although could have been Friday.

2. Harkin's was on Saturday
And of course the astroturf teabaggers were there to disrupt the event.

6. The Waterloo Harkin event was quite left-friendly
A majority of those there (I would say 2/3 to 3/4s of the 50 or so attending) were pro-Harkin and pro-public option. Harkin spoke for about half an hour and took questions for another half hour. The one obviously Rethug questioner only verged on being rude and loud. One of his concerns was tort reform, and Harkin asked him what his ideal tort reform would be. Pretty much everybody in the room turned to look at him as he stumbled with a reply.

Harkin spoke convincingly of the need for a public option, and for the need for the bill to contain funding for preventative health care. But he was also gracious towards those who disagreed with him or who weren't sure his proposals would work for them. In this, he is light years ahead of Grassley.

This is all I have seen posted. Looks like a one day swing for old Chuckles. No doubt he will be working on that bill to make insurance companies rich - er - I mean health care the rest of the time:
