Just sent a real nasty message to Grassley

In which I said that him or anyone else who states that the House version of health care bill contains language for euthanasia is engaging in scare tactics and is a reprehensible person. I also said that his words are being monitored and every time he says something reprehensible like that, he will be called on it. I actually had to redo it a time or two so that there were no swear words in it. He does a good enough job making himself and Iowans look like dopes, I don't need to help him. But boy oh boy was I angry. If a ham sandwich runs against Grassley, the ham sandwich gets 100 pct. backing from me.

It's pretty obvious by now that he is no longer serving the people of Iowa, he's serving corporate insurance companies. Just the thought of him standing up in his town halls and saying that crap about death panels makes me physically ill.

for what it is worth. Grassley, honestly, has no conscience and as such could care less. He believes he is doing Gawd's work.

that would be a great place to let him (or his staff) know what you think.

Several of us can't wait for our Fair so we can let Franken & Klobuchar know how unhappy with the positions (or in Klobuchar's case the lack of a coherent position) on healthcare. Of course, neither one of them is like Grassley - but we expect better from DFLers.

At least you have Harkin. His "stand up keep fighting " speech at Wellstone's memorial is all that kept going during the Bush years.
