Ted Kennedy's been dead a little over a week. And today we had our first really tasteless letter in the Dubuque Telegraph Herald about his passing.

I suppose our local right wing contingent will be slapping each other on the back and leaping to this clown's defense. But could you imagine the amount of heck they would all raise if someone on the left had written in anything similar after the passing of Saint Ronald Reagan(TM) or Gerald Ford?

You're right, they probably are congratulating him for this. They really hated Kennedy. I remember a RWer saying that the three people he hated the most were Ted Kennedy, Jimmy Carter and Bill Moyers. :banghead:

3. I remembered something said on Stephanie Miller's show the other day

It was to the effect that Mary Jo Kopechne was being used by the reich wing, that her beliefs were polar opposite of all the Republicans who use her name now to smear Senator Kennedy. If she was still alive today the reich wingers would probably all hate her as much as they do women like Pelosi, Boxer, and so on.
