Here's a LTTE in the ol' Teabagger Herald whining about the criminal justice system in Dubuque County;

Every court session has 90 percent of defendants getting probation or nothing at all. Police arrest people and charge them with crimes, only to see them walk out of court free.

Why wouldn't criminals want to move to Dubuque when they can openly defy our court systems and punishment, if any, for crimes?

Judges and prosecutors should wake up to what is happening because of mistakes and their kindness toward these people who commit these crimes.

Of course that brought all the racists and/or teabaggers out to play in the 1.5 hours since the letter was published online. I wonder if the author or any of the commenters ever bothered to do research on other areas in the state of Iowa to see what their statistics would be?
