Domestic Abuse Arrest Follows Packers Loss
Source: KCRG

Grant County sheriff's officials say Jeffrey M. Leffler, 45, was arrested for domestic abuse after he grabbed his wife around the neck Sunday night. Sheriff's deputies say he told investigators he was ornery over the Packers' 51-45 playoff loss to the Cardinals.

Ornery? Try stupid. And probably drunk off his ass too.

4. Good point.
Heck of an exciting game. Better than the other wild card playoff's this weekend, but if you had a rooting interest for the losing team, the farther there was to fall, the harder it must have been...

In any event, what's up with your handle? The Cyrillic letters in your signature spell "T - Ts - P - K... D..." that is to say, nonsense. ...Not cool, unless you're completely indifferent to the message you're sending.

Sorry for that mixed applause response -- I think the losing team in this game got totally screwed -- but the whole Cyrillic thing completely throws me; why not just recognize that the letters have a meaning of their own, that they're not just some sort of bogus facsimile for the Latin alphabet?

7. You're the third person to say that,
Someone gave me an approximation that was phonetic but i like the way this looks better. If it really bothers you, I don't post all that often so it shouldn't be too much of an issue.

But what message am I sending? And who am I sending it too?

2. How mature of him.
Clearly no one ever taught him not to take out his anger on others, ESPECIALLY someone he professes to love.

I was disappointed personally to see the overtime loss but was able to get over it quickly since I'm not a diehard fan of either team. I'm just watching the playoffs as a neutral observer so that I can see which teams I should be a fan of.

3. Yeah, sure -- when you're talking to Five-Oh...
...you reach out for anything you can think of, or whatever you think might fly. Who the heck knows what was going on, or how honest those people were, after the Po-Po showed up? Or how drunk or wasted either party was?

Yes, it was a really, really heart breaking loss -- where was the face mask penalty when you needed the ref's to call that one (?) -- but it's probably not the smartest thing in the world to be drawing too many conclusions about what went on in one Wisconsin household; on that particular night, without knowing how many beverages were consumed. Who knows, it may have just been a reality-check moment after the home team lost and the two of them realized they didn't have so much in common.

5. I'm as avid a Packer fan as you'll ever see
But I won't beat up anyone because they had a real tough loss. The guy is just plain stupid.
