I really don't like it when Republicans twist Lincoln's words for their own advantage. Or assume that he would vote or act a certain way just because he was a Republican when he was alive. Which is of course what a local RTL person did today;

Today, our government does not consider a baby a person a mere moment before birth. The truth is self-evident -- the baby is identical; only his location is not. Why should having his toe still in the womb delay him from receiving his unalienable rights?

Based on our knowledge today, how can our nation withhold these Creator-endowed rights from a baby with a beating heart just because he's in the womb rather than out? It is for us, the born, to be dedicated to the unfinished work of securing these rights for all.

Have a right to the medical care to keep him alive after he is born? The LTTE around here claim that medical care is not a right. Their twisted logic astounds me.

At their fair booth here, they had a life size cutout of Lincoln. Who are they trying to kid? You know they would fight for the Rebels.
