California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger says Florida is “for the old people” and that no one wants to take a vacation in Iowa.

The Republican governor on Tuesday told a Silicon Valley conference on infrastructure that in comparison, his state has a reputation as a destination.

“No matter where you go in the world, people still want to come to California,” Schwarzenegger said. “There’s no one screaming like, ‘I can’t wait to get to Iowa.’ That I can guarantee you. They want to come here to California.”

I am doubtful that he has ever visited this State. Yet he can express himself as some sort of expert.
I understand the point he is making about California. I have been to California.....no thanks and I have no inclination to ever go back. Iowa has something completely different and unique to offer as far as I'm concerned.

3. ahhhh I'm from CA and my dream was to live in Iowa

I wonder if the Gov has ever seen the beautiful rolling hills of IA?

I love Iowa. no,, it doesn't have the ocean, or the mountains.

But it has quiet beauty. It has the freedom of being able go for long walks and hikes without being on alert you could be harmed by someone.

It has incredible lightening storms. It has Peace.
