Presidnt Obama publicly said he would make negotiations about his health care bill open to the public on C-SPAN. However, critical negotiation sessions have been held without C-SPAN access. Do you agree or disagree that the negotiations should be televised?

Why would this surprise anyone? He also refused to debrief congress about a recent plane hijacking, violating federal law. Let''s put him behind bars with the other 65% of his kind or we''ll keep hearing "I''s didn''t do''s nuffin" and "gibs meh a dolla"

I hear you and I'm 100% with you on that. Steve King (merely typing that name makes me gag) represents moronic, closed-minded and bigoted politics and I will work hard to get him out of office.

3. I live in the Steve King District.. God what an embarrassement he is

I just do not understand why our people vote for him.. He refuses to debate the Democrats during elections.. I just don't understand it at all..

I want to believe that we aren't that crazy on this side of the state but his continued success makes me wonder.

Of course he does have the benefit of being an incumbent. Not debating an opponent is a plus for him (a public debate would really hurt him and he knows it). Then throw in a few hot button issues like immigration or big government to rally the troops and he's got another 2 years. :grr:


I've talked to some Republicans who really dislike him but there must be enough birthers and baggers to make up the difference. And I suspect a fair amount of those more moderate R's are too obstinate to vote for a Democrat so they hold their nose and give him another term.

Lincoln, he was on his way to sending people back to Africa when he was killed and they all stayed here. To bad he didn''t get to finish what he started and that nobody else did either, we''d all be better for it now.
