A question we should ask Grassley
As I'm sure you all know, Ol' Chuckles was recently griping about the "cash for clunkers' program and about how many jobs it actually created. He claims to have researched the matter, but the research apparently came from Edmunds.com, which is a web site designed to help people get a fair deal on a car by True market value pricing, car reviews, ratings and advice. Doesn't sound like much of a place to search for info about jobs created. Anyway, the question we should ask is how many jobs did he create with the $238,974 he recieved in subsidies during the years of 1995-2006? Sounds like maybe he wants to accept Government cash but can't deal with the fact that a Democratic sponsored program actually worked. And one other thing, why didn't he use the research facilities at one of the fine Universties here in Iowa to gather information on this matter? Inquiring minds want to know.
