is Iowa a sexist state?
Iowa has never had a female governor, senator, or representative to my knowledge. Even a state like Texas, which many would be consider to be sexist, had a female governor in the early 90s and currently has a female senator.

1. Well then. What better reason to elect Roxanne to the senate?
gets us out of that tie with Mississippi.

3. Yeah, I missed the chance to vote for her for Governor in 1982
it was one of the few years of my life I've lived outside Iowa. She could have broken the glass ceiling then, but instead we got that nightmare Braindead. So I kind of got to make up for it today by voting for her for Senator.
