Here's a real gem of a letter to the editor published in the Dubuque paper this morning;

Letter: Killing the suspects would end all crime
FROM WILLIAM C. REEG (address removed by me)

Ted Nugent's rant delivered at a National Rifle Association conference: "... I want the bad guys dead. No court case. No parole. No early release. I want 'em dead. Get a gun, and when they attack you, shoot 'em."

I fully support Mr. Nugent whether they are white, black, Asian or any race. The result would be a crime-free country.

Another student of the Bill Bennett school of criminal justice. Bill was the guy who thought that a sure fire way to reduce crime was to abort all black babies, and I thought of that right away when I saw this letter.

I'd like to say so in the comment section, but you have to submit a credit card number to register (though you don't get charged; but I like to limit who gets my credit card number). I doubt anyone who reads the online comments sections of newspapers is open to changing their mind about anything, so usually it's a waste of time.
