His group, the group trying to oust the three judges is coming to town tomorrow, October 28. I have to work so I can't make it. But that's actually a good thing because if I were to go I'd maybe get thrown in jail or beaten up by teabagger thugs.
I forget the time, 10:30 I think, in Lafayette park at fourth and Gaines. What's sort of funny about that is that park is well known as a place where many low income people hangout. It is not the lap of luxury by any stretch of the imagination. Something tells me they didn't do their research. Imagine having a political rally at a park where the people who live around it are, GASP!, poor. I also hope it rains. That would be justice.

1. They were in Clinton tonight.

I went to a "counter rally." There were maybe 60 people at theirs and a dozen at ours. We had a couple of speakers. I think I'm the only one who held up a sign and that was because of somebody driving past and giving us a thumbs up.

We were across the park from them. A couple of our guys went over to listen to the BS. They came back and said it was " Reagan, Branstad, Reagan, Branstad, blah blah blah. They never mentioned that 2 of the judges were appointed by braindead.

3. Reagan Branstad? Honestly Branstad is riding a wave of Clinton-Era Nostalgia

Everybody remembers the Clinton economy. Branstad is taking advantage of that, claiming it as his own.

2. Idiot had an ad in our paper yesterday.

Bullet points about repealing Obamacare, getting rid of the IRS, building the Tex-Mex wall, etc.
