Well, I feel like I have been hit by a truck
Guess I will go pull some signs down. Maybe down a pepsi or two.
Jesus what a whooping.
So glad Dave and Bruce won. But it looks like Bruce barely won which is scary.
I feel about as low as I ever had. When Bush was Pres I was mad. Today I am really down.
I am down because of many things, but mostly because I look at that machine the republicans have built (radio and TV ownership and highly partisan shows etc) and I get depressed. And the collective intelligence of the country seems to be microscopic.
And the repubs will raid the treasury and hand it out to their friends just as fast as they can.

1. It's time for us "regular people" to take our party back.
The leadership doesn't seem to have a clue. If they did, this may not have happened.

3. Branstad lied about Culver's record. He claimed Culver was scandal ridden and had driven Iowa into
deep debt.

Honestly I have no idea how to battle against that.

2. We liberals have been road kill since Clinton
moved us too far to the center. I don't have a party anymore- No one does really other than the $ party of which every politician belongs and well funded special interest control. If I support anyone in 2012 it will be Howard Dean

4. The center to which Clinton moved us is far, far to the right of
the center that I grew up with. Oh how I miss that center.

5. It's sad isn't it?
And this move to the right just seems normal to everyone.
