I am absolutely furious with Branstand and the Republicans

In this time of recession, they keep beating the drum of austerity. It's time for everyone to suck it up. The House Republicans voted to cut a ton of programs and end thousands of jobs, in the name of creating jobs?

Oh wait, they did create some jobs, at least one - A culinary chef for Branstad.

Really? Allowing my daughter to get the help she needs so she can speak well before entering kindergarten is no longer a state priority, but making sure the governor gets gourmet meals is? Funding for CORE EDUCATION takes a back seat to the governor's palate?

Oh, I forgot, austerity for thee, but not for me.

Less than a week in office and Branstad has shown he's out of touch with Iowans.

But then, it's appalling that Branstad is our governor.

3. I see that Iowa has joined the "Health Care Reform Is Unconstitutional" lawsuit crowd.

Thank God we have a Republican Secretary of State to protect us from having affordable health care.

It is such a good use of our tax dollar too.

How long is it going to take Iowans to realize this Branstad nonsense is BAD FOR THE STATE OF IOWA?

4. Not to mention that he's talking about LAYING OFF workers

How in the hell is that creating jobs? And how does laying off (most likely) Union workers who clear snow, etc. going to help the public good? Answer-It's not. This guy is an anti Union extremist and is the worse possible thing that could have possibly to Unions and working people in general in this state.
