Bald Eagles

Can't believe this hasn't been posted somewhere, but most people in Northern Iowa have their eyes glued to a couple of Bald Eagles on cam with 3 eggs. Which is now just 1. 2 are currently gray and furry. One just hatched this morning. (beware of the dead rabbit nearby. I swear it's not the easter bunny either.

in Bettendorf. I grew up less than a mile from this nest.

I haven't been to Decorah in a long time. :( clearly it's by the highway, I've heard horses and I've heard kids down below... Frankly at 126,000 people on at the same time it's amazing how well the feed keeps going. first time I saw ustream was because of the Shiba Inu pups...

SE Iowa.... bit wet. we just get the wind. Got a bit warm today so one hatchling was spreading it's wings a bit.. too cute. I need this sort of escapism with all the politics around. Frankly I think everyone needs it (Keep Ted Nugent away!!!)
