1. There was some talk of a Iowa DU Meetup

but it never took hold. People suggested Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area. If we extended to a Midwestern DU meetup, the Quad Cities, Dubuque, Madison would be options.

I live in Central Iowa and would love to meet other people from DU. Not sure if I could make a weekend out of it, put could attend for an afternoon or evening if it isn't too far away.

6. Well, for obvious reasons, the QC sounds good to me

But it may depend on what part of the midwest you are talking about. Iowa, Illinois, Minnesota, Wisconsin? Then a central point may be the IC Cedar Rapids area. As you probably know, it is a progressive area with about a million bars. In fact, when I went to Bluesmore a few weeks ago, I saw a Code Pink woman there. Must say, she was pretty in pink. Oops, none of that here. But anyway, some kind of meetup would be a good thing, if everybody can finally agree on a date and location. Count me in, tentatively.
