2. something I noticed the other day - Latham in a catbird's seat
He can move one county over in his own district to any one of 3 different counties and move into one of the other 3 districts.
From Story county (new dist. 4) he can move into Dallas county (dist. 3), Jasper county (dist.2) or Marshall county (dist. 1).
So he can kind of survey the field and see who looks like they may be in trouble and swoop in.
One thing about Latham - he must be the most unknown congress critter in congress.

4. Latham agrees with you.

Cut

Latham, the current incumbent for Iowa’s 4th District, announced Friday he would move to the 3rd District to square off against Democratic incumbent Boswell.

Latham would thus avoid facing U.S. Rep. Steve King (R-Iowa), a conservative firebrand and favorite in Iowa’s 5th District. The new redistricting, approved by the Iowa legislature this week, had to deal with a cut to Iowa’s Congressional seats and placed Latham and King in the same district

End cut

I want the Nebraska Navy to capture Kiron from Iowa and force Steve King to row a small boat around town keeping Kiron safe from Somali Pirates.
