Pottawattamie County Sheriff Jeff Danker tells KMA News that yesterday afternoon, at around 3:30, one of his deputies arrested State Representative Greg Forristall after his vehicle was observed driving erratically in Carson on Highway 92.

Danker says a deputy was eastbound, and he had to pull onto the shoulder of the road to avoid a vehicle that was driving westbound in the eastbound lane. The deputy followed the vehicle and observed the vehicle drive into the eastbound lane again. He pulled the vehicle over, and spoke to the driver, who was Greg Forristall of rural Macedonia.

Danker says the deputy made the arrest after a thorough investigation. Forristall's blood-alcohol content was three times over the legal limit. It was determined there was enough probable cause to arrest Forristall on suspicion of OWI first. He was transported to the Pottawattamie County Jail where he was booked in and processed
