God, another
KCRG fluff piece on Bachmann.
AMES, Iowa - After the Ames straw poll in August, presidential campaigning has been pretty quiet in Iowa. But today the straw poll winner made a trip back to Ames, to tailgate.
A large crowd surrounded Michelle Bachmann on Saturday, as the GOP hopeful supported both Iowa and Iowa State. "I love everybody so we are here for both the Hawkeyes and the Cyclones, I love them both," Bachmann said.
The Republican candidate shook hands, grilled hamburgers, and even played bags. Tyler Stahlin, of Marshalltown, played bags with the congresswoman. "I was surprised at how quickly she caught on she made the 2nd shot right in the hole," Stahlin said.
Brad Andrews, of Iowa Falls, noticed Bachmann passing through the Jack Trice Stadium lots. He imagines she gets a good feeling being back in Ames. "She has got to love it in Ames, she won the straw poll here," Andrews said.
Does KCRG actually think I give a shit whether or not she roots for the Hawkeyes or Cyclones?
