We had a great crowd on the campus of University, it was so awesome to be there. Sadly my camera did not work well. We did not have any media except for the press citizen ... that was upsetting but you guys seemed to have it covered so that was great!!!!!

I cried...I really hate this war..I hate that children are not with their parents and family.. both those who are still living and those who have died. I really hate this war.
it was such a great rally and great show of support..horns beeping, friendly yells ..america coming together..

I miss Iowa City.
So glad there was such a big turnout. If I still lived there, I would have been there.

...I'm just outside of Des Moines.
Unfortunately, I was unable to attend any vigil in Iowa today. My oldest begins kindergarten tomorrow morning and we had to have the kids in bed early. Otherwise I would have been there.
That's so cool about Iowa City. I miss Iowa City...it is the most wonderful town in Iowa. I'm not surprised so many showed up for the vigil. IC is incredibly progressing and fantastic.
Thanks for sharing the info.
