“Occupy Iowa City” protesters may help with park maintenance
IOWA CITY – Porta Potties are the latest victory for “Occupy Iowa City” protesters.

According to Mike Moran, Iowa City Director of Parks and Recreation, the city will allow the protesters to put the portable toilets in College Green Park.

“The city wont pay for them,” Moran said. “But they’ve expressed interest in bringing one.”

Moran said he is yet to receive any complaints about the protesters, who have transformed College Green Park into a makeshift city ...
