Iowa DU meetup...when are we going to have one?

The past weekends protests in DC got me thinking that we should have that DU meetup in Iowa that we have been talking about.

So when are we going to do it?

We sort of decided that Iowa City or Cedar Rapids would probably be the best location for people. Maybe we can organize it around an event that has numerous candidates for Governor speaking.

7. JJ Dinner on Saturday night

Is the JJ Dinner perhaps the place for a DU meetup? Who would be in? I am going, anyone else?

But I have a wedding attend. Maybe we can push her date back a week...nah, she wouldn't go for it. Have fun and I'll be jealously thinking about any DUers who may attend.

That would be perfect except for we won't be there.

Our son is in the school play and, as much as it would be nice to talk w/Senator Daschle and meet everyone, we can't skip the play. (we'd win the bad parents of the week award for that!!)

I have so many things going on that day...a major lit drop and call-out day for the city elections and a neice's program thingy to name a few.
