first primary bizness by appointing a blue ribbon commission which would have on it Michael Gartner, and Marvin Pomerantz of course, maybe Bill Knapp and certainly a top echelon exec from the Principal group. Maybe Bob Ray too. That would take care of this problem just like it solved the school funding problem in Iowa and teacher pay.

I remember seeing toll-booth Terry and Bill Clinton do a joint appearance at the national governor's conference in I believe 1989. The subject was education. It was more like a joint appearance with Mortimer Snerd and Albert Einstein.

3. He was going to solve the budget crisis sometime in the '80s

by putting toll booths along interstate 80 and 35. The next day after this proposal he was doing the 'factory gate' thing as I left work. I greeted him with a "toll booth Terry" and invited my friends to shake the hand of the man who's going to shake you down on the interstate. His aid grabbed me and pulled me away and I almost decked him. I don't think brainless was gov yet.

My story:

I was working as a theater usher in high school. Out of nowhere one night the Guv is coming to a movie. While one of his troopers is signing him in on my little clipboard (that kept track of who got in free), I greeted him politely....and he just looked at me like I had just farted and didn't say anything.

My sister's story:

One service she's standing in the back of church one Sunday with my new niece who's crying, and next to her is the Guv. She smiles and shrugs, as people are wont to do in situations like that....and he looked at her like she had just farted and didn't say anything.
