Iowa Democratic Party Launches “James and the Giant Deficit” Website
Website Will Expose Jim Nussle’s Disastrous Record of Historic Budget Deficits

March 23, 2006

DES MOINES – Today, the Iowa Democratic Party released the “James and the Giant Deficit” website at www.nussledeficit.org. The website contains information about Jim Nussle’s disastrous record as House Budget Chair, turning a $236 billion surplus into a $412 billion deficit.

“We launched this website to provide Iowans with information about the Republican gubernatorial candidate’s record of creating the largest deficits in America’s history,” said Iowa Democratic Party Executive Director Mike Milligan. “Iowa has a strong tradition of balanced budgets and fiscal discipline, and Nussle’s record is unacceptable. Nussle has failed every year as House Budget Chair to successfully balance a budget.”

2. I hope it gets folks attention!
I hope it's on billbords, bumper stickers, yardsigns and blared on the radio and TV day and night. People who might vote for this neocon need to understand what his brand of 'governing' could do to Iowa.
I have kids and someday I hope that they may come back to live in the kind of Iowa I grew up in. One is already long gone and the other is probably on her way. Having a reverse Robin Hood as governor will only worsen it immeasurably.
Doing the Nussle Hustle
Robbin' from the poor, givin' to the rich.
You knew it was coming
So you really can't bitch.

He started an affair with a staffer used his wife and downs syndrome kid in the adds for his first campaign run. they had a picture of them sitting on the front porch of a small house. He took an apartment with the staffer 3 months after getting to Washington and divorced his wife. Republican family values gotta love em.
