I got an email from the Boswell campaign
and I told the old Bush-enabler, Bankruptcy law supporter to go to Hell straightaway and/or retire already.

1. Did Boswell vote for the bankruptcy bill?
or did he just not vote on the issue because he was ill.

I know he didn't vote on CAFTA and his vote would have made a big difference, if he would have voted the right way.

Personally, I think that Iowa will have 3 Democratic Representives come November. I am not so sure that Boswell will be one of them.

2. Yes on bankruptcy and energy bills
He supported both of these pro-industry measures. When I had a chance to tell him that I was disappointed in his energy bill vote, he said, while firmly shaking my hand, "You are one of those activist, aren't you?" He really does not like Democrats questioning his voting record, but he was friendly and gave me some lame explanation.

On CAFTA, I think he would have voted against it. He gets a lot of money from unions, just like the finance industry gave him money to support the bankruptcy bill.

I hope he wins re-election. Boswell is far better than Leach or any other Republican in his voting record. But 2008 may be the year for a progressive to win the 3rd District.

3. If Fallon doesn't get the nomination for Governor
it would be awesome for him to run for the House seat in 2008.

4. Better Representative than Governor
At least in my opinion, he would be better in Congress.
