This said after Culver accused Blouin of an election year conversion. After voting for a Constitutional Amendment to restrict women's reproductive health care rights while in Congress Blouin told Culver he had the right to change his mind after 30 years. That's true, But when this race started last fall Blouin was still against women being allowed to make their own intelligent decisions. It's only been a few months now that Blouin has decided that we're capable of deciding what the best choices are for our bodies - without Big Daddy Mike Blouin there to help us along the way.

1. I loathe that phrase and also the other Reagan phrase so

fondly remembered (NOT) "Stay the course." The constant unimaginative repetition of these political shibboleths drives me bananas!!

2. You know Blouin isn't my favorite... he became less so tonight

Let's just say that I got up close and personal with his arrogant side tonight. It wasn't pretty.

Just stating publically that -- unless I have something factual to add to a dicussion -- I'll be keeping my mouth shut about Blouin for the rest of his (short-lived) campaign. It has become painfully obvious that not only do I not like him for Iowa Governor but that I don't like him at all.

3. I didn't like him for his political views at the beginning of the campaign

but after a personal encounter with him during the campaign my opinion of him went into the toilet. Just like you, there is no reason to go into detail, but I cannot believe a so-called adult can act that way and still think he deserves to lead our state.

but it goes deeper than that. He's just plain mean. And I have a feeling he holds a grudge.
