August meetup

If it is okay with everyone, I would like to postpone it a week until Wed, Aug 24. I am possibly going to Crawford and so are a couple others in our group so I think we will have a better turn out if we put it off a week.

So let's plan on Wed, Aug 24 at 7:00 pm at the Flea Market. If anyone has any strong objections, let me know and we will try a different date.

Although, the scenario of you, me and Muse on a roadtrip (in reality we'd need to take putout and gilmore too) conjures up images of "Thelma and Louise and plus one" on a hedonistic binge through the midwest ending with a fiery HumVee launched at the Bush Ranch from Camp Casey. Now if we could just get the trailing smoke to leave the message "Surrender Bushie" emblazoned across the sky, that'd be real cool.

FWIW, a "what lessons I learned today" moment brought to you by Mabus: Mike's Hard Lemonade is an alcoholic beverage. Mabus should eat before consuming several of them. Mabus should also not drink when sleep deprived. Finally, Mabus should know better to drink and post.

I also can't take time off work for the launching, but I could borrow and steal minor fireworks, and we could just sit in a vacant lot and blow some shit up. Then, our hair would look good and we wouldn't have to do the off the cliff deal.

BTW putout, I never intended us to be in the HumVee, I just wanted to launch one towards the ranch.

Better yet, we could build a HumVee out of wood and leave it at the ranch gates like a Trojan Horse. Yeah, that's it, that's the ticket. We build a fake HumVee, 'cause you know those bushies will pull that sucker in the gate faster than Dumbshit can mangle the word "nuclear".

Anyway, after Pickles puts the Dumbshit down for bed (oh say, 8:01 p.m.) we jump out of our Trojan HumVee and turn all our coconut radios (I'm sure there'll be a professor around that's as smart as the one from Gilligan's Island) to full blast and treat Bush like Noriega. We can blast some techno music. It should drive him nuts (not that it will be a long drive).

I'm taking my youngest daughter back to college (in Montreal) that week. We're lucky, both of my daughters are dual citizens.
