It pissed me off though. I just thought it was just a little strange that a Topeka station and a Kansas City station were off for the same period at the same time. The only thing I could think of was that there was a problem with the feed. The question is whether it was a problem somewhere along the line or whether (A)Dolph's company caught wind of what was going to be said and "saved" us from the news. God knows they don't like reporting things that actually matter or people care about.
I'd call them but everytime I do they get pissy and
always blame me. The last time I called them when I lost cable to a particular channel the woman suggested it was my television. She then suggested I pay my bill. I told her we were current and had actually paid for the upcoming month the week before and asked her to confirm that. I was put on hold and when she came back she told my to check my cable connections. Then she suggested I unplug all my cable boxes, wait five minutes and then plug them back in. This went on and on, I asked several times to speak to her supervisor but she refused. Finally I hung up and got someone else who put me through to the supervisor who told me that it was a satellite problem. This whole thing took close to half an hour. I get the same "helpful" service when I want to know why the internet connection gets dropped. I don't have the time or energy to call those knuckleheads to find out what went wrong.
