FYI, Tuesday is "Drinking Liberally" day in Lawrence (Free State Brewery at 8 p.m.). Also, KU basketball season has started so some of us (me :eyes: ) will be unavailable some days.

I don't know that we will stick with this day every month. I just thought it would be nice to combine our meetup group with the Dem Kickoff. Then I found out it was the same day as Drinking Liberally.

I am getting excited. I can't believe how many people are replying to come. :woohoo:

We probably do need to change our meetup day. Attendance has been down lately. And I want to figure out a date when Muse can come. I haven't seen her since Crawford. And I need a Muse fix. :)

And hey I am all in favor of a meetup for watching basketball. It goes together with politics, right?

We've had so much stuff going on that I keep spacing things out. I don't think I've gone since June or July. Since late August I've chosen to stay at home because I like watching the GOP implode on the various cable news networks.

this is NEVER going to work for me. I have a Symphony Board meeting every 3rd Tuesday and that is where I have to be. Rats, this Wednesday would have worked because we don't start rehearsals for the next concert for a couple of weeks. Well, you all have a good time. I EXPECT a report and have a drink for me.

I have to stop some of the things I am doing but I don't know what it will be, especially since I am doing things important to me. I am far too busy and the house will (IF it ever gets bid out) add to it.

Gas prices are still killing me. I read this morning that you could get it here in town for $1.97 but diesel is still $2.46. I am trying to drive less.
