So who won the SOS Dem primary?
Looks like Haley won by 300 votes but they said last night Wichita was having problems with their machines? Anyone know if the results are official yet?

1. Provisional Ballots
The results will not be official until provisional ballots are counted. Final results should be known by Friday afternoon.

5. An interesting tidbit
If there is a recount necessary, Jo Co has Diebold machines that are incapable of recounting.

Can I get a hmmmmmm???

6. Necessity of a Recount
I could be mistaken, but it is my recollection that a recount is not automatic unless the final tally after counting provisional ballots still has the margin at .5% or less. It is the provisional ballots that are the big question mark right now. Should know something definitive by Tuesday morning at the latest.

7. Do the math
Beattie 34779

Haley 35090

TOTAL votes: 69869

We could very well be looking at a recount here. LOL

8. Provisional Ballots
There supposedly are 800 provisional ballots in Sedg. Cty. alone - no telling how many in Wyan. and Johnson Cty. So I still think that will be where the decision is made. But you are correct, Proud, it is an extremely close contest.

9. I'll give you a "hmmmmmmmmm"
We could try to get Katherine Harris up here and ask her advice. :sarcasm:

But seriously, what can they do other than give the same totals that were given before.
