Second Saturday in Johnson County

On the second Saturday of every month Johnson County Democrats meet at the Holiday Inn in Olathe, 101 W. 151st Street (I35 and 151st, just south of the Great Mall of the Great Plains). This is a great chance to get together with other Johnson County Democrats, including many of the fine folks running for office. This coming Saturday Bonnie Sharp, who is the Democratic candidate for Insurance Commissioner will be the featured speaker.

There's a breakfast buffet if you wish. Or just get coffee and hang out with fellow Dems. Whenever Dennis Moore is in town he's there. Don't know if he'll be there this Saturday.

Do show up. We'd love to see you there.

Although I suppose I shouldn't be surprised. After all, she is a Democrat.

I do know someone who is working on her campaign, and he's a wonderful person as well as a writer of science fiction, which for me is a strong recommendation.
