High school elections provide accurate sample of nationwide vote

Teens across the Kansas City area have spoken. As the nation did, they chose President Bush.
Area elections reported to TeenStar drew more than 34,000 voters from Kansas City area schools. And the results seem typical of any election: There were decided voters and undecided ones, students who voted on issues and students who voted on personality.
There were close races at Pembroke Hill, where Kerry won by one vote, and Hyman Brand, split down the middle. And there were landslides: Central, where Kerry won 95 percent of the vote, and Tri-City Christian, where Bush won with the same margin.
