He's out of town for his father's funeral, but she wants us to know that he DOES support stem cell research, as long as it is (useless) adult stem cells. I desperately hope Gene Rardin wins. He's been well-funded and endorsed by a lot of people, including Sebelius. I just fear the power of the wingnut voters...

are you helping Gene out on Tuesday? I'll be spending the day poll watching myself, and he can probably use a few more volunteers. And thank you once again for helping me two years ago.

I got that same call myself, and I hope it's an indication of how far behind Kriegshauser is. About three weeks ago I was polled by phone, and the only question was, if the election were held today, which candidate in the Kansas House race would I vote for, Gene Rardin or John Dennis Kriegshauser. Gene is working very hard, and this seat is considered winnable this year, what with Yonally out of the picture, coupled with what I did two years ago. And I'm very glad Gene is running, not me.

I didn't have a big enough block of time to do poll-watching, but at least this way I can help. With all of Gene's campaigning (and Kriegshauser's looniness), I'm hoping we can win this!

BTW, did you ever hear anything about what the results of that poll were? I'd be curious to know.

Gene did not know about it. I'm sure the Democratic party is doing polling, and just not telling us about it.

Good to know you'll be doing GOTV Tuesday. I think I'll enjoy the poll-watching, even if it is a long day.
