2. You bet!
People were hooping and hollering for a while. We were literally dancing in the streets for a while. We watched the replay on the Metro channel. Oh man. Those kids showed what they wre capable of when they play together.

fwiw, I don't think Sasha fouled at the end of regulation time. I didn't see anything that warranted a foul being called. But, in the end, it didn't matter. My Jayhawks were flying high.

7. Nice and safe.
Right now, it's the Larry Johnson Show. I think Green will throw more passes as the season winds down, though.

8. I noticed Green was back last week
I think I read it in a Whitlock column.

Did I ever tell you the first time I got drunk was during the SuperBowl that the Chiefs played in? It was one of the few times that my parents had alcohol in the house (beer, that one with the bear - sky blue waters, Hamms?). My mom said the doctor prescribed it for my dad for his nerves. At some point during the game, my older brothers snuck some out of the fridge and out in the garage. We took turns going out there and taking sips from it. (We were also taking sips from dad's beer in the living room). Mom caught on that we were up to something and was on her way to the garage to find out what was going on. I was the one in the garage taking my sip. One of my brothers came running in and told me to chug it. I did and I got a little drunk.

9. That's how it always starts.
Which Super Bowl? They played two. The first one and the fourth one. Just how old are you?
Green started the last two games. They brought him back against Oakland two weeks ago.

10. Nunya
As in, "it's nunya business how old I am!"

It was the, what, 68 or 69 time period, thereabouts.

I think the Whitlock article was just prior to Green's return. Now, what position does Green play?

11. Some kind of back named for a coin.
I heard he's pretty good.
You saw Super Bowl IV, like me. That, and the moon landing. Some say they were both faked on a sound stage in L.A.

12. In answer to your earlier question
I'm about the same age as your brother. I think that means you have about six or seven years on me.

Sound stage in LA. No way. It was a sound stage in Nevada. You know it, I know it, the American people know it.

13. You didn't have to fess up.
But you're really just trying to make me feel old.
You're right. No point in pushing the old cover story any longer. Neil Armstrong was played by Lenny "The Cool" Dawson.

14. I'm surprised I'm still alive
Really. Never thought I'd make it this long. You know the old song and dance, "if I knew I was going to live this long, I would have tried harder." I mean, "I would have taken better care of myself." I'd never to anything to make you feel old. The Admiral is just a year younger than you.

Lenny Dawson my foot! Neil Armstrong was played by Pete Best, who, once again, is never associated with it. Poor guy. You'd think he'd catch a break.
