David is our local free speech hero here in KC. He fought Prairie Village's sign ordinance and won. He now has THREE anti-war/bush signs in his yard on one of Prairie Village's busiest streets. David writes LTTEs and calls in comments to the paper all the time but doesn't get published as often as he should.

I've only lived in KC for a year, but it seems like PV and the area north of there are as bad or worse than the suburbs. I see more W stickers on cars around there than anywhere else in town. At the Wild Oats store I was ambushed by a couple rightwingers who apparently didn't like my bumper stickers. Normally I get postive comments on them, that was a first.
