WSU Shockers Will Climb in Rankings |
|
After winning a trio of tough road games against Final Four qualifier George Mason, #6 ranked LSU, and #14 ranked Syracuse, the Shockers are certain to rise in the rankings from #17 last week. The Shocks are now 5-0.

1. We watched the game yesterday |

I was quite worried at the end when Syracuse went on that 20+ streak. The Turgeon General has become a talented coach. I hope they go farther in the tourney this year. I'd settle for a KU-WSU championship game.

Turge has now been at WSU for six seasons (this one is the 6th), and I am afraid his talent will take him elsewhere. My only hope is that he will stick around in Kansas because he wants to be immediately available when the KU job opens next - whenever that would be.
I would love a KU-WSU championship. It would be the only time I would root against KU (last time of course was at the Battle of New Orleans). If this happens, we'll all have to go to the game together.

I'm afraid that Turgeon is going to lured elsewhere. Then again, he understands tradition and could decide to make Wichita his home.
The one reason I would like to see a KU-WSU championship is to brag that basketball and the state of Kansas are synonymous.
