That was my husband calling you. Four things, the Gore meetup tonight, he was sorry you missed it. Second thing: He hoped the MoveOn meeting went well and he wants to hear more about it. It will soon be a year since evl and I started our forum exchanges and I dedicated my sig line to him.

He's probably being held hostage by that monster as I type this.

I had a meeting at 6:00. It was important. No I didn't go to the moveon meeting. I had planned on going right after my 6:00 meeting but they changed the location. Then I got an email reminding me to come - to the original location. And I got another email reminding me to come - to the original location. So I emailed the organizer who said well they had to change it because so many people were coming. And I got a third email telling me to come - to the original location. I decided I didn't have time to drive around town looking for the meeting. So I didn't go.

Oh well, if we don't hear from him for a month or so, we'll go look for him. Dibs on his laptop.

I understand about the meeting. :eyes: Back in 2000 we hooked up (briefly) with a KC group. They'd send out e-mails asking to check the website for the latest information. We knew a meeting was coming up so we checked the website and found out the meeting had been canceled. So, we stayed home. The next day we got an e-mail asking what happened, why we didn't show. We wrote back that, according to the website, the meeting had been canceled. We got a reply that said they posted the cancellation because they were trying to throw off the Republicans but that the meeting had gone on as scheduled. Other times we'd drive into KCMO only to find out that the meeting really had been canceled. This happened several times. It was a real crap shoot so we gave up. It was craziness.

As for our anniversary, don't feel bad. I would never have remembered it if somone hadn't asked about Mopaul. I remembered we DU'ers had talked about going to one of his shows. I couldn't remember when that happened was so I looked it up. I found where I had foolishly dedicated my sig line to you. I also knew, hehe, if I said something that looked personal that proud would be all over it.


Sometimes, I like to drive proud up the wall. Why? Because I can. :rofl:

I was unemployed. It somehow seems I was doing better then than I am now.
You'll never regret that sig line dedication. You don't know how honored I am. No, really, you can't imagine.

After I finally met you I realized I had been right all along. You're a great person to know and an overall excellent human. So are most of the people I've actually met in person that I know from DU.

I love proud. She's a lot of fun. I don't know why I like picking on her so much.

I couldn't agree more. Not only that but you guys have helped me out a lot this past year. You've kept me relatively sane, invited me to some great get togethers and then there's the hours of entertainment on the internet. Y'all are the greatest. Thanks for letting me/us into your lives.


I wonder if proud will have a retirement party of some sort that we can crash.
