Did you see where Boyda was sitting?
Two rows back and in camera range behind Pelosi.

:woohoo:

They are really trying to help Boyda out.

Haven't noticed Dennis around. But that's not too surprising.

2. Good on her!
I'm glad to see that Kansas isn't getting shoved in the background.

3. They were saying nice things about her on CSPAN earlier today
I heard them (not sure who because I was washing dishes and herding dogs) describing Boyda as personable and down-to-earth.

fwiw, she had a few of the grandkids with her.

4. I saw her to!

I saw her talking to that lady and those children, and I think I saw the back of her head here and there. :\

I can't wait till she gets up an actual .gov website!

That's my girl!! ;)

5. My guess,
completely unencumbered by any facts, is that Nancy Boyda's election is a really big deal to the Democratic Party. Normally, a Rep from Kansas would hardly matter in the scheme of things, but she beat an incumbent ultra-conservative, and I'm sure they're going to give her all the help they can in every way possible.

6. I think you are right
They are trying to help raise Boyda's exposure and show her in a positive light. She surprised a lot of people and they want to make sure she stays in Congress.
