Pitch article on Kris Kobach (PhiLL's clone)
Even though he’s no longer running for office, UMKC’s most famous and controversial professor continues his campaigns.

This is a must read for 3rd district residents. Kobach has not gone away. He is a regular guest on O'Lielly's show and also speaks at (racist) anti-immigration rallies. He has appealed his lawsuit against the state of Kansas for offering in-state tuition to the children of undocumented immigrants. There is a youtube video at this link of his speech at a KC rally in October.

1. And to think ...
I had a clear shot at running him over with my car during his 2004 campaign.

2. It's rumored he's going to run for state party chair. Eek.
After an appearance last week on Bill O'Reilly's program defending Attorney General Phill Kline's right to file charges against Wichita abortionist George Tiller and a blitz of local media attention, Kris Kobach appears to be devising a well orchestrated and planned media game aimed at promoting his conservative credentials for an expected bid for State Party Chairman.

Word reached us earlier today that conservative circles are abuzz with news that Kobach is expected to make an announcement very soon regarding his intention to run for Chairman of the Kansas Republican Party at the end of January. While his entrance into the race does appear to be somewhat late in the process, many observers think that a large majority of State Committee members remain uncommitted to either Wichita businessman Mike Pompeo or State Senator Tim Huelskamp.
