I'm in trouble.
I lost Gup tonight.
I came home from work. There was nobody else here. I fed the dogs and then let them out.
Later, I heard the usual scratch at the door and there was only Bear.
Aparently, either evlbstrd jr. or one of the rogue teenagers that he hangs with left the back gate open and I hadn't noticed.
evlspwn's gonna be really pissed at me.
And I kinda miss the little shit.

2. Thanks. I do too.
evlspwn is too busy to have a puppy, and I didn't need one, but, dammit, she grew on me.
She's talented, too.

13. It was Monday night
Rex got tickets and I went with him. It was held at the Ramada in Topeka. We got a book and some chocolate covered sunflower seeds as we were leaving. It was a lot of fun.

My only complaint was: they kept moving stuff. We parked off of 10th and got a shuttle to the Ramada. So, we get to the Ramada. S far, so good. The shuttle dropped us off in the back and we were told that's where we needed to go to catch the shuttle back. When we got there the coat check was downstairs and in the back. It was a perfect location for catching the shuttle. When we left the coat check had been moved upstairs. So we had to go back upstairs and get our coats. Then we walked back downstairs to catch our shuttle. We walked past the old coat room and got to the back door. That's when the Highway Patrol (the Gov's security) told us that the shuttles were now picking up people in the front. When we got in the front to catch the shuttle one person told us that we needed to go back downstairs. Someone else told us we were in the right place. We stayed and after a few minutes a shuttle drove up. We checked it out and it was a shuttle to a parking lot across the street from where we parked. We could take that shuttle or wait up to fifteen minutes waiting for the shuttle that went across the street to the lot where we parked. We were both tired and so we took the first shuttle and walked across two parking lots and a street. :eyes:

I'm not used to wearing high heels but I was really doing okay until we tried to leave. It didn't help that I had on a long dress and almost tripped over it trying to walk up and down the stairs. Halfway across the first parking lot I gave up and took my heels off. One good thing, I find out I walk a lot faster on cold asphalt than I can walking in heels. :P

20. That'll work.
evlspwn's watching John Waters' "Crybaby," and doesn't want to get up to pee because she doesn't want to miss anything. She's only seen it 87 times.

21. And now the reason I only watch movies on-demand becomes clear
Edited on Fri Jan-12-07 07:07 PM by Mabus
I have to be able to stop stuff so I can see the whole thing. I've spent most of my adult life only seeing parts of movies because I always seem to be the only person who can make popcorn, answer the phone or who has to go pee during movies or other shows. :nopity:

With on-demand I've actually been able to see whole movies! It's a sanity saver. I'm also someone who can watch the same movie over and over again. Especially when it is as good as the Broadway play Cats.

eited to move the "no pity" icon closer to my bitching.

That skit on SNL when there were some people talking about "seeing Cats over and over again" like they were hypnotized?

Aw, never mind. You're a little older than me and were probably out doing cool stuff while I stayed at home on Saturday nights watching tv.

I was the worst sailor in the world. I failed miserably. Didn't even get my good conduct ribbon. It's a lucky thing nobody on our side got shot.
