Phill deserves to be a top ten conservative idiot
I am here in DC trying to convince EarlG to nominate him.

Post your favorite double L Phill story!

1. So many possibilities, too few servers: here's one of my faves
In another part of the debate, Kline was asked about two meeting he had last year with conservative members of the Kansas Board of Education. At the time, he was accused but later cleared of conducting "serial meetings," a violation of the Kansas open meeting law.

He was asked during those meetings if it would violate the constitution to place stickers in science text books stating, "Evolution is a theory, not a fact."

Kline was asked during the debate if he believed evolution was a theory and not a fact.

"Evolution is a scientific theory and I recognize that as a theory it holds more water than a hypothesis," he said.

Morrison said that even if Kline did not technically break the open meetings law, he violated its spirit, an example of "scandal that has followed Mr. Kline during his short three and half years as attorney general."

from the kcbuzzblog http://kcbuzzblog.typepad.com/kcbuzzblog/2006/09/morrison_kline_.html

Just one of many examples of how our former AG used to violate Kansas law because it fit his religious agenda. Tell EarlG that the reason Kline is anti-abortion is because some young girl may be carrying the next messiah. Violating man's law is okay for PhiiL because PhilL is one of God's Army.

4. That's a good one!
A theory holds more water than a hypothesis.

I am going to remember that one. Damn! Why did I even bother going to college? I could have asked PhiLL

8. Contempt of Court
I am wondering if there will be an investigation - perhaps in connection with AG Morrison trying to track down all of the abortion records - into whether Kline violated the Supreme Ct's protective orders in connection with his appearance on Bill O'Reilly's show.

2. You could tell him about PhilL's last minute rush to court
in violation of Kansas law. The fucking AG, the top attorney for the state of Kansas, tried to circumvent the state's constitution so he could shut down a doctor's clinic! How many times did he try to file charges? Three? He just kept doing it even though every one, district court judges, county DAs, the Gov. all told him he had no jurisdiction.

3. My favorite Phunny Phill moment
Was when Phill was trying to require Health and Education professionals to report to the government anytime they thought an underaged Kansan was having sex (even if consensual and with another underaged Kansan). In court testimony Kline actually said that a girl performing oral sex on a boy probably didn't need to be reported while a boy performing oral sex on a girl should be reported.

Shockingly, Kline failed to convince the courts that his reporting plan had any merit.

Also, it's almost enough to make you feel bad for Mrs. Kline. Almost.

6. My latest favorite
is how he refuses to talk to the press but criticizes them for the coverage he gets.

7. There's also the story of how he fired 8 attorneys
right after taking office as DA, for political reasons. They were highly experienced prosecutors. He is claiming that, though Johnson County pays his salary, he's not bound by Johnson County policies and procedures about terminating employees. There is a hearing set for Monday.
