Here's an e-mail I received earlier this evening. The progressive caucus will be meeting during Washington Days on March 3rd. If you can, this is something you should consider attending. Hope to see some of you there. :hi:
Greetings from the Kansas Progressive Caucus!
We're sending this email out to let you all know that our annual meeting at Washington Days is coming up on March 3rd at 8:30am at the Ramada Inn in Topeka 420 E 6th Street, Topeka, KS 66607, (785) 233-0460
We're getting together to vote on changes to our Bylaws, and elect new leadership for the upcoming year. We want to encourage everyone to come to the meeting and be a part of the Kansas Progressive Caucus.
Our Rules Committee has made substantive changes to our existing Bylaws, and we hope to ratify those changes and make them permanent. The current draft of these changes can be viewed online at www.kansasprogressives.org/?q=bylaws. You are encouraged to look these over and send any comments or suggestions to kansasprogressives@kansasprogressives.org.
We need nominations for the officers of the KPC for the 2007-2008 year. Effective leaders can turn the progressive vision into reality for all Kansans.
