ACTION ALERT: 10th District Judicial Nominating Committee



We have just learned that the Johnson County Board of County Commissioners is meeting NOW to discuss the nomination of Michelle Kinzer to the 10th District Judicial Nominating Committee that oversees the nomination of judges.



PLEASE TAKE A MINUTE AND CALL COMMISSION CHAIRMAN ANNABETH SURBAUGH’S ASSISTANT AMBER DURAN AT 913-715-0501 AND TELL SURBAUGH TO OPPOSE THE APPOINTMENT OF KINZER.



Michelle is the wife of Rep. Lance Kinzer who has become the new Phill Kline of the Kansas Legislature. So far this session, Kinzer has sponsored just about every social issue, anti-school based piece of legislation. It appears that Michelle Kinzer is also affiliated with Kansas Judicial Review (http://www.kansasjudicialreviewofjoco.org/) whose purpose is to oppose merit-based judges and go to popular election of judges.
