| Governor Outs Betts as Tiahrt Opponent |

At Demofest in Wichita, Governor Sebelius introduced Congressman Moore and Congresswoman Boyda, and then introduced State Senator Donald Betts as the next 4th District Congressman. The Wichita Eagle carried an article on this subject Saturday morning: www.kansas.com/news/local/story/187826.html. Betts' website may be viewed at Betts4Congress.com. Betts formal announcement will be Tuesday at 9:00 am at Friends University in Wichita.

Sen. Betts' official announcment was Tuesday, and you can read about the event and issues at www.kansas.com/news/local/story/190837.html.
Sen. Betts was at the head of the charge in the passage of the state's racial profiling bill that I believe was passed in 2006.
