I was very impressed by Governor Sibelius when she gave the Democratic response tonight. What do you think of her? Does she have any presidential aspirations? My first impression is that she would be a formidable candidate.

Should Obama be our nominee, I believe she will be very high on the VP list as well.

Why, for that lying criminal bastard's final SOTU, couldn't the Democrats give a god damn REBUTTAL?? I wanted to hear the kind of indicting speech Kucinich would have given. Or Waxman, Feingold or Wexler.

I've always liked Sebelius, and I was looking forward to seeing her give a good "FUCK YOU, you prick, YOU and your failed policies wrecked this country" kind of speech. It would have given her a strong presence. Instead, that made her appear to be yet another DLC weakling.

3. I think she did a good job last night...

I particularly liked her reference to "rebuilding Greensburg as 'green'" (My wife noticed this morning NPR didn't mention anything about this part of her response).

And she is a Democrat in a Republican state so I think she can appeal to voters across the political spectrum if she decides to on to the White House...
