Tornado sirens in Overland Park

Anyone have a clue why the tornado sirens in Overland Park went off for half an hour starting about 11:55pm on Saturday? I can find nothing on local TV stations, radio, or internet. It a raw wet night about 48 degrees with some strong winds, but that's it as far as I can tell.

2. No tornados near OP

The tornados on the map are at least a hundred miles from Overland Park. Sirens just quit after going off yet again. Sirens go off way too often when the bad weather is no where near or heading away from the area where the warning is sounding. Makes people ignore the warning. Usually when severe weather is anywhere near Kansas City the local TV stations are do special reporting for hours. Tonight there is only regular programming.

4. More sirens

Crawled out of bed after just getting in and again nothing in the local media or on the Weather Channel. If this has been an hour and a half of false alarms there are going to be a lot of grumpy people tomorrow morning.

5. Lawrence doesn't set theirs off unless it's a "drill"

we had a tornado a few weeks ago out around the lake, but there were no sirens. I live in the middle of town, and it looked like we were having a hurricane with the rain coming down...
