Job Description: Canvassers are individuals who establish personal contact with the voters on behalf our Democratic candidates. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Conducting door to door voter surveys in neighborhoods • Making a personal connection with voters in the Kansas 2nd Congressional District • Initiating voter registration • Conducting voter and issue surveys • Distributing information orally • Have the ability stay on task • Work as both an individual and part of the team • A canvasser has to be able to meet and talk to strangers about the political issues facing our state and nation • Experience is not necessary, training will be given by Party Staff • Flexible scheduling is available
Available Shifts: Monday-Thursday: 4:30pm-8:30pm Satuday-Sunday: Noon-5:00pm
Compensation: $7.25 per hour
