Is early voting being encouraged again this year?

I did in 2004 and 2006 and would like to do so again this year. Has anyone heard any reasons why Kansans should NOT vote early?

2. Yes, it is absolutely being encouraged.

I have a friend who lives in Prairie Village and for the past two or three election cycles has been a poll worker, and is one again this year. Several months ago she passed on to me an email from the head of the Johnson County Election Board, which said to encourage as many people as possible to vote early so as to avoid anticipated long lines on November 4th.

So yes, vote early if you can. And if you can get the day off I believe they still need poll workers.
